Fluke 1630-2 1. Measurement principle
Fluke 1630-2 adopts the auxiliary pole-free test method, which eliminates the need to disconnect the parallel ground electrode and find a suitable location for placing the auxiliary ground rod. The tester snaps around a ground rod or connecting cable, with half of it sensing a known voltage and the other half measuring current, automatically determining the ground loop resistance of the ground connection.

The ground loop resistance measurement range is 0.025Ω to 1500Ω, which can meet various needs.
Large 35 mm (1.38 in) jaws allow testing of various ground electrodes and/or equipotential busbars.
The ground leakage current measurement range is 0.2mA to 1000mA, which can be measured without disconnection and is suitable for system fault diagnosis.
