2711P-T7C4D8
The Allen-Bradley 2711P-T7C4D8 is a PanelView Plus 6 Graphic operator terminal. This operator terminal is a visualization component that is used to provide a graphical interface intended for machines and processes. This operator terminal enables an intuitive monitoring and control interface via the assembly of logic and display modules which contain the core components of this Human Machine Interface (HMI) device. The 2711P-T7C4D8 provides a colored graphic display via the 6.5-inch screen with viewing area of 132 x 99 mm (5.2 x 3.9 in.) and pixel resolution of 640 x 480 in 18-bit color graphics. Users are able to see a color-coded graphic display that is commonly used to depict a material flowing inside a pipe or stored in a vessel, area marker for typical production lines as well as status of instruments and devices. Operator interacts to the process via the analog-resistive touchscreen input interface that is designed to be operated up to 1 million actuations with an actuation force of 10-110 g. This operator terminal has 512MB Random Access Memory (RAM), used by the operator terminal during runtime environment only. This ensures fast transition from HMI screen to another as well as smooth interaction with runtime objects. The 512MB Flash memory is used by the operator terminal for storing HMI applications as well as system files such as trends, logs, recipes, manuals and other related files. The module has its own embedded Ethernet interface with configurable IP address. It has an RJ45, 10/100Base-T connector for network communication and supports MDI/MDI-X connections. The 2711P-T7C4D8 processor’s speed increased from 350 MHz to 1 GHz and the screen transition rate is approximately 70% faster. The system memory increased from 64MB of RAM to 512MB of RAM and flash storage space increased from 64MB to 512MB. The illumination of backlight displays has also increased. Additionally, the 2711P-T7C4D8 providess greater connectivity to a variety of external hardware such as printers, mice, and keyboards. Optional communication modules can be ordered for additional network communication.
