It comes with 32 tasks and it has 1000 programs per task as well as unlimited event triggers. This unit features a digital I/O count of 128,000 I/O at maximum along with an analog I/O count of 4000 I/O at maximum. The module provides the user with a communication speed of 12 Mbps and it has the option of supporting either 100 or 250 Ethernet Nodes. The 1756-L83EP processor has a user memory capacity of 10 MB and 50 Volts of isolation voltage (continuous). It has a thermal dissipation rating of 21.2 BTU per hour with a power dissipation rating of 6.2 Watts. This unit has a current draw of 1.2 Amps at 5.1 Volts as well as a current draw of 5 milliamps at 1.2 Volts DC.    The 1756-L83EP processor also supports other optional communication options including THE EtherNet, ControlNet, EtherNet/IP, and third-party options such as device networks. For the Ethernet communication unit, it is essential that the users consider the connections to the controller along with the input and output module connections. They support direct connection to the EtherNet/IP network without requiring a bridge module. This controller is intended for use with an SD card since these cards have been tested and confirmed to be compatible and usable with the 1756-L83EP processor. They can also withstand extreme industrial temperature levels. The Allen-Bradley 1756-L83EP processor unit features an optional non-volatile storage memory unit and it comes with a 2 GB SD card.
